Hope you are doing well 🙂 On my Birthday, 22nd september, I went to the city for a big book haul. I usually do this around my birthday with my best friend.
I dont buy much books during the year because I work as a librarian and borrow most of my books. But on my birthday I usually have made a list of books I’m collecting, that i have read and loved so much I want to buy them or books that are a bit unusual so the library dont have it.
I take this list and I go to my favorite bookstores and I dont hold back. I try not to buy to much because I need to carry it all back home. But I also dont want to hold back or think “I cant get this because….”. If i see something on this day that i like i will buy it.
And this result in a mega huge book haul. I made a video on all the books I got this time. I think I got around 24 books in total.

I do use amazon sometimes ^^ But i prefer to support local bookstores, especially at times like these. 🙂 I only use amazon if I cant find the book i want in the stores around me.
