About me

Welcome,

To my corner of the blog world. My name is Elin and I’m really thrilled you are here.

I’m a former Swimming pro, after getting nerve damage in my jaw I started coaching instead. After a few years of doing that, I became and librarian. This was the best job in the world and I loved it.

I been all different kind of librarians but my favorite has and will Always be a school librarian. Today I work as a middle school librarian. Because of my job and my love for books I have decided to change my blog into a book reviewing blog. I will vent on books I absolutly hated and books i love more than anything and cant recommend enough.

I will also be making honest Reviews from books I recive from Edelweiss+ and the publichers. E-book arcs in exchange for an honest Review. I will not be taking any deals on making positive Reviews to boost anyones sales. Honesty is the way to go all the way.

I read alot of Childrens book and Young Adult fiction. But I also love horror, thrillers, comics and manga. I’m an all-reader really.

Hope you enjoy your stay,

Elin

    Hej Elin. 🙂
What a brilliant about me page. 🙂 Your passion for vintage and retro clothes sounds very interesting. 🙂 I myself am not that much into fashion, but I like lots of things vintage, including dresses. Och jag älskar allting svensk och Sverige och svenska språket, jag har läst det för omkring tio år och jag älskar det fortfårande så mycket som i början, om inte mer. 😀
    Happy blogging. 🙂

Oh wow, 15 languages, that’s awesome! I like to call myself a polyglot, but I definitely don’t know that many, at least not fluently and not at this point. I only speak Polish and Welsh besides English and Swedish. I am from Poland. What languages do you know? 🙂

I love your thinking hairdo. I used to have a silly hat and when I wore it, my husband was not allowed to disturb me no matter what he thought I was not doing. (sitting still and looking at something is not always “nothing”)

Thank you so much for visiting my little space of Blog Universe! I am so happy you did, because I discovered yours! I also love 50s style dresses.
I am so sorry that you are currently out of sorts… I hope your Dad gets better quickly and that England spits that lovely boy of yours back to Sweden soon. As for teal, brown and orange? Yes please 🙂

I like your site and yes sewing is fun! I sewed my first Simplicity dress in 1972. It was sleeveless, had a scoop neckline, two darts in the front and back, and a long zipper in the back. Cost all of $5.00 to make. Fast forward: March 2018 while shopping with two of my sisters, I saw the same exact dress style on a mannequin. The cost… $175.00. Whoa horsey! When I told my sisters about my sewing the same dress, they chuckled. I’ve also taken sewing design classes and designed a few outfits from scratch, but I no longer sew because it’s a little on the pricey side.

You’re very talkative for a librarian… could you tone it down a bit?? Lol!! Jk! I’m John. I usually do random blog reading and came across yours! Very interesting material! I’m liking it!

Thanks for connecting to my blog! You live in Sweden, but are you a Swede? Love to see more of your work of costumes. I love certain movies, just for the old costumes! In the past I sewed much more, but now it’s for curtains and repairing things. Happy belated New Year:)

Hi Elin – I have just followed your good-looking blog. Glad you inhabit the book world and I am a published author (and just signed a 2nd book deal with the same publisher, Pen and Sword Books, Barnsley UK). However unless you are a dedicated salmon fisher you may not be so interested. That said there’s a lot about life in there which I hope you could empathise with.
Have a lovely day and stay safe. Henry.
